DAO KNIFE

Materials :
wood, metal, organic material, rattan, goat colored hair

These long knives were used by Naga warriors while headhunting. Red - Yellow  -Black colored goat hair is symbol of flames of burning enemy’s village.

Provenience :
obtained locally in 90’s of 20th century.
